Brian Dillon retires from Lancashire Constabulary

On 19th November 2007 Brian Dillon left the Lancashire Constabulary after over 30 years continuous service.

Four months ago, Sir Michael Pitt, Chairman of the South West Strategic Health Authority, was asked by Ministers to conduct an independent review of the flooding emergency that took place in June and July this year. Sir Michael's interim report on the causes and consequences of the floods has now been published and can be found using the above link.
